Famous Entertainer Roman Danylo Booked for Conference Banquet
The 2007/2008 Education Committee has been working diligently to bring you a top quality conference and tradeshow. As you can see by the schedule, we had the good fortune of obtaining two keynote speakers for the Wednesday workshop. David Nowak and Ed Gillman could easily carry a full day workshop on their own but in an effort to present as much information as possible to our membership, we are offering both of these professionals. Please see their bios for more detail.
This year we have the benefit of our Chapter President also acting as our local liaison with the host city of Niagara Falls and Murray has truly outdone himself this year. The Sheraton on the Falls Hotel is a magnificent venue for our conference with a spectacular view of the Falls. As you are well aware, the local area offers many attractions including the butterfly conservatory and many local wineries nearby. The attached casino is available for your down time without having to put on your coat and boots! Murray has also secured the local Hard Rock Café for our hospitality suite this facility will be closed to the public for the night a great opportunity to mix and mingle with your fellow arborists.
We are offering a guided off site trip to the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens on either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. If you choose not to take advantage of this, there will be several great presentations on site that you can take in. We are confident that our line up will leave you wanting more.
Due to the success of our banquet speaker at our 2007 conference we have decided to offer this again. This time we have the hilarious antics of Roman Danylo, a well known Canadian comedian. For more information, see Romans bio.
We look forward to seeing all of you at the 59th annual conference and tradeshow. Please register now as space is limited. Reserve now at www.starwoodmeeting.com/Book/isa2008 or by calling 905-374-4445.
Please direct any questions to Sue at the ISAO office and she will forward to the appropriate committee member.
