It all started in 1994 when Nelson Mandela was appointed South Africa’s first democratically elected president. Inspired by Mandela’s message of unity, Drum Café took the concept of harmony to South Africa’s diverse business world, where hundreds of companies were eager to foster a culture of understanding and friendship in order to cultivate a stronger work ethic.
