THANKS TO ALL PARTICIPANTS FOR ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL CONFERENCE!
The event, sponsored by Davey Tree, was held at the 4-star Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre in Niagara Falls. We had a solid 3-day jam-packed schedule with Julian Dunster headlining Wednesday with 3 sessions on Documenting Evidence, Photography, Ethics & Professionalism. Thursday was divided into 3 streams, one of which was a bus tour to the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, and the day concluded with our annual banquet featuring, among other highlights, entertainment by Bill Carr. Davey Tree's Jim Zwack delivered a detailed look at a famous pest on Friday with his session entitled Emerald Ash Borer, Then & Now and Dr. Sharon Douglas from Connecticut discussed key diseases of conifers (repeated from Thursday).
