ISA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE & TRADE SHOW. August 3-7, 2013, Toronto, Ontario

Calling Ontario Volunteers!. While your Local Committee has received a good number of offers to help from generous ISA members, their family and/or friends, we still need to fill 80-90 four hour ‘shifts’ (morning, afternoon or early evening). Please consider giving some of your time as a ‘Thank You’ to all that arboriculture, urban forestry, or the ISAO has meant to you over your career. ISA Ontario will be the local host Chapter for the 2013 ISA Annual Conference & Trade Show. Paul Kobold, long-time member and volunteer, has been appointed as the Local Committee Chair (LCC) for this international event. One of the major duties of the LCC is to appoint Conference Coordinators for the various sub-group committees. These individuals must be self motivated, passionate, forward thinkers who have a thorough knowledge of ISA's mission statement and the annual conference purpose statement. After many months of discussion and consideration, Paul is pleased to introduce his Local Committee Team.

Each of these sub-committees will need high energy volunteers to fulfil the mandate of the ISA Director of Events and the Conference Events Committee. If you are interested in being a member of a sub-committee or simply wish to volunteer to help out, please fill out our volunteer form or contact Kathleen at the ISAO office and indicate your area of interest and potential time commitment.

Stihl Tour des Trees: July 28 to August 3 
Volunteers are also needed for the 2013 STIHL Tour des Trees to benefit the TREE Fund. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Fund Development Specialist Mary DiCarlo or Tour Logistics Coordinator Paul Wood for more information or to register as a Tour des Trees Volunteer.
