ISA CERTIFICATIONS


Top 10 Questions Asked About the ISA Certified Arborist Program...

Certification is a voluntary program providing recognition of one's professional knowledge by one’s peers. International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist recognition is given by the ISA to those who:

• meet the eligibility requirements for admission to the examination,
• successfully complete the examination,
• maintain the necessary number of continuing education units (CEUs) to recertify after three years, and
• pay the necessary recertification fees every three years.

    Objectives
    • To be an educational program that will improve technical competency of personnel in the tree care industry.
    • To create incentives for these individuals to continue their professional development.
    • To provide the public and those in government with a means to identify those professionals who have demonstrated, through a professionally developed exam and education program, that they have a thorough knowledge of tree care practices.

    ISA Certified Arborist Workshops and Exams
    Designed as a review for those who have studied and want to make sure of their knowledge through an exciting study time, or alternatively if you have bought a Study Guide and are just beginning this educational process. Past participants have highly recommended this workshop.

    All workshops are from 9 am to 4:30 pm. All exams are 3 hours long starting at 9 am sharp with registration between 8-9 am.
