Responsibilities:

Safely climb trees using industry standard techniques.
Perform tree removals with precision and attention to safety.
Pruning and thinning the canopy of trees from various heights using industry and company standards.
Installation of cables and bracing.
Properly operate and general maintenance of equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, stumpers, ropes, and hand tools.
Diagnose tree health issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Interacts with customers to ensure the job is completed to their satisfaction.
Play an active role in maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Ontario “G” License with clean abstract. (D License is an asset).
Proven experience as a tree climber in the arboriculture industry.
Certified Arborist or relevant qualification preferred.
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Proficiency with ropes, rigging techniques, and climbing equipment.
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Experience hauling and backing a trailer.
Works well with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Team based work ethic with a positive attitude.
