Arborists, Climbers, Crew Leaders, and Bucket Operators

Pay: CA$25.00-CA$38.00 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber and/or Bucket Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing tree care services, including climbing, pruning, and removing trees safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of tree biology, safety practices, and the ability to operate various equipment. A passion for landscape maintenance and the outdoors is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Climb trees using ropes and harnesses to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks.
• Operate bucket trucks and other rigging equipment to access high branches safely.
• Conduct thorough assessments of tree health and identify any potential hazards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to execute landscape maintenance tasks effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding tree care needs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in tree climbing or arboriculture is preferred.
• Proficient in operating bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent physical fitness and stamina for climbing and lifting tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
