Experienced Tree Climber / Arborist

Hilltop Tree Care is a professional, safety-driven arboriculture company serving the Halton and Peel regions. We are looking for an experienced Tree Climber who takes pride in professional work and running an efficient crew.

This is not an entry-level role.

Who You Are:

• 2+ years climbing experience in production tree work
• Confident performing technical removals and advanced rigging
• Strong rope management and job-site leadership skills
• Comfortable making safe, independent decisions in the tree
• Experienced with chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and towing trailers
• Valid G license (DZ an asset) with a clean driving abstract
• Safety-focused and professional with clients

Bonus if you have:

• ISA Certification (or working toward it)
• First Aid
• Formal arboriculture/forestry education

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading climbs and executing safe, efficient removals
• Performing structural and aesthetic pruning
• Managing rigging systems and lowering operations
• Working closely with the ground crew to maintain smooth production
• Representing Hilltop professionally with clients
