Summary

Greencare Tree Service is currently seeking a Certified Arborist to lead our team in the Waterloo area and surrounding regions.

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable professional with a strong work ethic and a proven commitment to safe work practices. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, expertise in arboriculture, and a passion for delivering high-quality tree care services.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree removals, pruning, and rigging using proper climbing and safety techniques.
• Operate bucket trucks and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct tree risk and site assessments to guide work.
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure job site safety.
• Communicate clearly with crew and management.
• Provide excellent customer service and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in the tree care and forestry industry
• ISA Certification or Ontario Qualified Arborist Preferred
• Extensive knowledge of tree care techniques and safe equipment operation
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
• Valid DZ Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract Preferred
• Chainsaw Safety Certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Experience:

• Arborist: 2 years (preferred)
• License/Certification:
  • DZ License (preferred)
  • Ontario Qualified Arborist (preferred)
  • ISA Certificate (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In-person

Pay: $33.00-$44.00 per hour
