Annual Meeting of Members (AMM)

ISA Ontario’s Annual Meeting of Members (AMM) will be held at our annual Conference & Trade Show.

Purpose of the AMM

As per the ISA Ontario By-Law No. 1, each year, no later than 6 months after the end of the last financial period, ISAO must hold an Annual Meeting of Members or AMM. As the ISAO’s financial year ends on the 31st of December each year, we hold the AMM at the annual conference and trade show. The AMM is the ISAO’s yearly member meeting where we review the previous year’s financial statements, committee update reports, relevant matters, hold elections, discuss new business and pass resolutions in accordance with the non-profit law and organizational By-Laws. It is a formal meeting and as such, to be able to vote at the AMM, you must be an ISAO member in good standing before the meeting, and present during the meeting in-person. You can also earn a CEU!

Any other business outside the standard agenda that may come before the meeting is “special business”. If the annual meeting includes any special business, a notice of the special business must be included in the notice of meeting. Either the Board of Directors or any member may put forth a request for Special Business. This must be done in advance of the meeting so that it can be added to the agenda with proper notification to the members of the item (at least 21 days to a maximum of 60 days’ notice).

2026 AMM

The 2026 AMM will be held at ISAO's Annual Conference: Thursday Feb 19, 2026 at 11:30 AM EST (in person) at RBC Place in London, ON.
