Job Title: Arborist / Tree Climber

We are seeking an experienced Tree Arborist Climber to join our team in beautiful Barbados. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who enjoys working outdoors, values safety, and wants to live and work in a tropical island environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform professional tree climbing, pruning, trimming, and removals
• Safely operate climbing gear, chainsaws, and arborist equipment
• Assess tree health and identify hazards or structural issues
• Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work sites in good condition

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a tree arborist climber
• Strong climbing skills using ropes, harnesses, and modern arborist techniques
• Knowledge of tree biology, pruning standards, and safe work practices
• Chainsaw experience required; relevant certifications are an asset
• Physically fit and comfortable working at height in tropical conditions
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player
• Must have own climbing and arborist equipment (PPE, ropes, harness, and related gear)

Work Schedule:

• Five (5) hours per day, focused on safe and efficient completion of assigned work
