TRAQ Renewal (reTRAQ)
To take the reTRAQ Course you must currently hold the TRAQ qualification and be within 18 months before your expiry.

About reTRAQ
reTRAQ is a one day refresher course to renew your TRAQ qualification:
- five hours of instruction,
- followed by three hours to take the exam in the afternoon.
- reTRAQ courses start at 7:30 AM and run until around 5:00 PM.
The reTRAQ course fee includes a textbook (which will be shipped to you a month before the course), lunch and coffee/snacks.
**Please read through the textbook BEFORE the course and be prepared to take the exam in the afternoon.**

**Note that ISA is changing TRAQ**: starting in November, a new course, and new manual will be released (we don't believe this will drastically change the course itself).
Starting in November, for those taking the new Full TRAQ course, the TRAQ qualification will last for 7 years and going forward there will no longer be a renewal (reTRAQ) option. Instead, someone will take the full course and then in order to maintain the TRAQ qualification must take the full course again every 7 years.
(Some considerations: the Full Course is 2.5 days and has a higher registration cost. reTRAQ is one day at a lower registration cost).
After November we will no longer be able to hold reTRAQ courses.
If you currently hold TRAQ, you have a 5 year expiration. After November, once you expire, you would need to take the new Full TRAQ course to maintain the qualification.
If your TRAQ expires in the next 18 months (by around March 2027) you can renew early: if you intend to keep up your TRAQ, the most economical way to do so is to renew now: this will get you another 5 years at the lowest cost. (After that 5 years, you would need to take that new Full course).
